HIGH FIVE TOURNAMENT

On Saturday 12th Feb Newcastle sent 4 teams of under 11's to the Fenton Manor High Five Tournament.
 
the under 10's depleted by loss of players played some excellent netball with players relishing the challenge, the first team lost only 1 game and were runners led by emily smitten, player of the tournament for Newcastle.

The second squad playing with some players only 8 years of age came 4th a tremendous achievement for such a young squad, this squad is certainly one to watch for the future player of the squad was amy elson evans
 
The under 11's had a similar fate coming runners up, the team played some excellent netball with daisie minerou and jade spencer leading the way and jointly winning the player of the tournament award for Newcastle.

The second team showed the strength in depth at the club coming in 4th with an excellent performance from player of the squad asleigh eaton who had earlier played in the under 10 tournament along with sian davies - well done everyone
